A Forever Beach
Jake’s young life was cut tragically short and we feel waves of grief. This site is Jake’s forever beach, where those he left behind can find peace during a tragic loss.
The circumstances of Jake’s death are under investigation. Two days prior to his death, he had a terrible fall on his one wheel motorized skateboard and was not wearing his helmet. Jake was impacted on the side of his head, shoulder, and pulled his groin. Due to his injuries, he took pain medication that was not prescribed to him. Not knowing exactly what caused his death is hard, but whatever the cause we know his passing was tragic and senseless.
If you want to know more about Jake, be sure to listen to his most recent playlist on Spotify. He loved his music!

Jake
We owe it to Jake and to ourselves to look at the bigger picture of Jake’s life. He would tell you to live in the moment. That tomorrow is not a given. Don’t wait to tell people how you feel or be scared to be rejected. That every day offers you a new beginning, a new chance to be something different. He also watched more sunsets over the ocean in his 24 years than most will in a lifetime. Stop and watch the sunset, listen to the sounds of nature. This is where you’ll find Jake whispering to you that he’s there and he loved you.
